Coccydynia

Coccydynia refers to pain in the coccyx, or tailbone—typically felt when sitting, transitioning from sitting to standing, or with prolonged pressure. It can result from a fall, prolonged sitting, childbirth, or sometimes with no clear cause at all.

This pain can be sharp or aching, and while the coccyx is a small structure, discomfort in this area can have a big impact on daily comfort, posture and quality of life.
